1.  A True Gospel Church has faith, love and hope in the
 Lord Jesus Christ (2-3)

Paul thanked God for their:

●Work of faith

●Labour of love

●Endurance of hope

2.  A True Gospel Church is chosen by God (4-8)

What were the signs of them being chosen by God?

●The gospel message came to them with the power of the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction

●The gospel message was received by them with joy amidst persecution

●The gospel message rang out from them

-> They turnedto the true and living God!

-> To servicethe true and living God!

-> To waitfor his Son Jesus Christ!
